CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE LOS SEMINARIOS REGLENSES DEL MONACATO ESPAÑOL “LA TEBAIDA HISPANA. DISCURSO DEL MONACATO VISIGODO DE SAN FRUCTUOSO”
Los Seminarios Reglenses del Monacato Español son un medio académico de estudios superiores para la instrucción del patrimonio histórico del Monasterio de Regla de Chipiona. Este congreso internacional aborda los inicios históricos de este lugar de monasterio, fruto del florecimiento monástico tardoantiguo del reino visigodo de Toledo en el siglo VII. El asunto medular de este seminario se proyecta con calado disciplinario como un encuentro monográfico sobre Fructuoso y su tiempo, bajo el título de La Tebaida hispana. Discurso del monacato visigodo de san Fructuoso. La historiografía sobre la monástica de Fructuoso nos conduce por caminos divergentes. La monástica fructuosiana es ante todo un manifiesto historiográfico trascendente. Este seminario discurre por la nueva historia española que desde los años 80 aparece polarizada entre el positivismo y el pospositivismo, entre la explicación materialista y la interpretación culturalista, entre las esencias de la modernidad y la existencia posmoderna. Este congreso internacional explora los contextos de significación de la monástica de Fructuoso desde estos nuevos paralajes de la historiografía contemporánea.

Seminarios Reglenses del Monacato Español constitute a higher academic means for the instruction of historical heritage of Monasterio de Regla of Chipiona, Spain. This international congress treats the historical beginnings of this monastic site, fruit of the Late Antiquity monastic flourishing under the Visigothic Kingdom of Toledo in the seventh century. The core issue of this seminar is presented with disciplinary depth as a monographic approach to Fructuoso and his time, under the title of La Tebaida hispana. Discurso del monacato visigodo de san Fructuoso. The historiography of the monasticism of Fructuoso leads to divergent paths. Fructuosian monasticism is, above all, a major historiographic manifesto. This seminar covers the new Spanish history that from the 1980s has appeared polarized between the positivism and post-postitivism, between the materialist explanation and the culturalist interpretation, and between the essences of modernity and post-modern existence. From these new paralaxes of historiography, this international congress explores the contexts of meaning of Fructuoso monasticism.
