III Congreso de Estudiantes de Investigación Biosanitaria

El Congreso de Estudiantes de Investigación Biosanitaria (CEIBS) es un congreso organizado por la Academia de Alumnos Internos de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Granada en colaboración con diferentes instituciones públicas y diversas entidades privadas patrocinadoras, pensado e ideado por y para estudiantes.

El CEIBS se concibe como un congreso científico sin ánimo de lucro por parte de sus promotores con el principal objetivo de promocionar y acercar la investigación biomédica a los estudiantes universitarios que aún no han finalizado sus estudios de Grado. La intención es acercar al estudiante del ámbito de las ciencias biosanitarias al mundo de los congresos científicos, estimulando su participación activa mediante la presentación de trabajos originales de investigación en forma de “comunicaciones orales” o “pósteres científicos” que luego tienen la oportunidad de publicar en la Revista Científica “Archivos de Medicina Universitaria” (AMU), cuyo Comité Editorial evalúa con rigor, poniendo así énfasis en el valor curricular que tiene la asistencia y participación en el CEIBS. Además, los mejores trabajos reciben premios económicos, de cuantía considerable si tenemos en cuenta que se trata de un congreso de estudiantes. Desde la Academia de Alumnos Internos, creemos que esto contribuye, sin lugar a duda, a la excelencia en la formación de los que el día de mañana velarán por el progreso y el bienestar de nuestra sociedad.

Así mismo, contamos con la suerte de poder disfrutar de un marco inigualable para la celebración de nuestro congreso que nos permite elaborar un magnífico plan social para los asistentes. La ciudad de Granada ofrece al asistente al CEIBS toda su riqueza cultural e histórica con lugares mágicos como La Alhambra y el Albayzín y parajes naturales como Sierra Nevada, al tiempo que permite al visitante conocer una de las Universidades con más prestigio de España, museos como el Parque de las Ciencias de Granada – Andalucía o el Parque Tecnológico de la Salud, donde está situada la nueva sede de la Facultad de Medicina que alberga desde el año 2016 la celebración de nuestro congreso.

The Congress of Students of Biosanitary Research (CEIBS) is a conference organized by the Academy of Internal Students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Granada in collaboration with different public institutions and various private sponsors, thought and designed by and for students.

The CEIBS is conceived as a non-profit scientific congress by its promoters with the main objective of promoting and bringing biomedical research closer to university students who have not yet finished their degree studies. The intention is to bring students from the field of biosanitary sciences to the world of scientific congresses, stimulating their active participation by presenting original research papers in the form of “oral communications” or “scientific posters”, which they then have the opportunity to publish In the Scientific Journal “Archivos de Medicina Universitaria” (AMU), whose Editorial Committee evaluates rigorously, thus placing emphasis on the curricular value of attendance and participation in the CEIBS. In addition, the best works receive economic awards, of considerable amount if we consider that this is a student congress. From the Internship Students’ Academy, we believe that this contributes, undoubtedly, to the excellence in the training of those who tomorrow will watch over the progress and welfare of our society.

Likewise, we are fortunate to be able to enjoy an unequaled setting for the celebration of our congress that allows us to elaborate a magnificent social plan for the attendees.
