El “I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF EUROPEAN SKIN ENGINEERING NETWORK and II EUROPEAN SKIN ENGINEERING NETWORK MEETING” que se llevará a cabo de manera presencial en las dependencias de la Universidad de Granada, Granada, España, los días 3 y 4 de junio de 2024, es un evento internacional científico-técnico de alto nivel que reúne a destacados investigadores, clínicos y productores de medicamentos de terapias avanzadas (ATMPs) para pacientes gran quemados. Organizado por la Universidad de Granada y la Red Andaluza de Terapias Avanzadas en colaboración con la Asociación Europea de Quemados, este congreso tiene como objetivo principal presentar los últimos avances en ingeniería de la piel como terapias avanzadas, así como fomentar la colaboración y la sinergia entre diferentes líneas de trabajo. El programa del congreso incluye sesiones de presentación de los ATMPs aprobados por la Agencia Europea de Medicamentos (EMA), ponencias magistrales de expertos internacionales, actualizaciones sobre acciones COST, discusiones interactivas y oportunidades de networking, proporcionando así un ambiente propicio para el intercambio de conocimientos y la exploración de nuevas ideas en el campo de la ingeniería tisular de la piel y las terapias avanzadas para pacientes grandes quemados. El congreso garantiza un programa científico de alto nivel, respaldado por un comité científico y organizador de renombre internacional.

The I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF EUROPEAN SKIN ENGINEERING NETWORK and II EUROPEAN SKIN ENGINEERING NETWORK MEETING, which will take place in person at the premises of the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, on June 3rd and 4th, 2024, is a high-level international scientific-technical event that brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and producers of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) for severely burned patients. Organized by the University of Granada and the Andalusian Network for Advanced Therapies in collaboration with the European Burns Association, this congress aims to present the latest advances in skin engineering as advanced therapies and promote collaboration and synergy among different lines of work. The congress program includes sessions for the presentation of ATMPs approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), keynote lectures by international experts, updates on COST actions, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities, thus providing a conducive environment for knowledge exchange and exploration of new ideas in the field of skin tissue engineering and advanced therapies for severely burned patients. The congress ensures a high-level scientific program, supported by an internationally renowned scientific and organizing committee.
