ANNALS OF OPERATIONS RESEARCH

Call for papers

Submissions in Game Theoretical Models and Applications are welcome for this special issue to appear in Annals of Operations Research. The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2022.

The special issue invites submissions in all areas covered by the European Meetings on Game Theory (SING), including, but not limited to:

  • cooperative games and their applications
  • non cooperative games
  • mechanism design
  • networks
  • dynamic games
  • evolutionary games
  • stochastic games
  • voting and power indices
  • auctions
  • bargaining
  • social choice and welfare
  • learning and experimentation in games
  • computational game theory
  • resource allocation
  • cost sharing
  • matching
  • game theory applications in fields such as: management, energy, environment, health policy, industrial organisation, and others

In particular, we would like to encourage participants of the 16th European Meeting on Game Theory (SING 16) to submit full, extended versions of their presented papers. However, other relevant papers are also welcome. Contributions arising from papers given at a conference should be substantially extended, and should cite the conference paper where appropriate.

Instructions for authors can be found at: https://www.springer.com/journal/10479

  • Authors should submit a cover letter and a manuscript by 28 February 2022 via the journal’s online submission site. Manuscripts submitted after the deadline may not be considered for the special issue and may be transferred to a regular issue.
  • Please see the Author Instructions on the web site, if you have not yet submitted a paper through Springer’s web‐based system, Editorial Manager. Be sure to leave a comment that your work is intended for the special issue and to select the article type “S.I.: SING 16.”
  • Papers will be subject to a strict review process managed by the Guest Editors and accepted papers will be published online individually, before print publication.

MATHEMATICS

More information can be obtained in the call for papers. The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2022.

We would like to invite participants in SING16 to consider this Special Issue to submit their original papers—both those presented during the congress and other relevant papers. Of course, we also invite any other game theorists who have not participated in SING16 to submit their original papers to this Special Issue.

Therefore, the main aim of this Special Issue in Mathematics is to gather a collection of papers that reflect the latest results, advances and trends in game theory and its applications, particularly, but not limited to, those areas covered by the SING Meetings.
